Happy New Year Soccer Loving Families! Spring Registration 2024 will be open on January 20 through February 29.  In March, we will allow registrations and waitlist to max out team rosters only, not adding additional teams in any age group.  With the rising costs, we determined at the November General Meeting to raise fees to $65/player with continued sibling discounts.  Late fees will not kick in until after Feb 29, $20/player.  REMEMBER, if you have not paid and received a confirmation email, you are not finished registering.  If working from a phone, turn the phone horizontal to see all your options.  Partial Scholarships are available.  To apply, instead of doing a full registration, please complete ONLY the scholarship application by February 10.  Once scholarships are granted, I will issue a coupon for you to finish your registration and make remaining payment.  Amount of each scholarship depends on need and available funds.  Any donations are designated for the scholarship fund 1st. Coaches and board members, your discount coupons are coming soon.  Spring season last year had 350 kids, almost 100 in U7 alone.  This requires a LOT of COACHES!!!  If you have any ability to coach, please sign up and convince a friend or significant other to help you.  We do have a coach clinic tentatively scheduled, particularly to help new coaches get going. For you planners, here are some important dates:     March 16 Skills check     April 8      Practices start this week     April 20    Games start this week     June 8      Final games Spring tournament is typically hosted by Tonasket, no details yet. There have been some BOARD MEMBER CHANGES to report.  A full list can be found under the board tab at rivervalleysoccer.net.  Andy Chase has stepped down as president and Robert Hallam has been voted into the president role.  Jake Hardt stepped down as U14 age rep, replaced by Jordan Buckner.  We currently have Vice President and Sponsor rep open and would welcome new volunteers for the board.  Please reply to this email or talk to any board member if you would like more information.  A list of duties is in the by-laws under the Board tab on our website also.
